Launched in 2018 by Dior and crafted by François Demachy, Grand Bal (2018) is a floral fragrance that embodies the elegance of an opulent ballroom. The composition opens with bright citrus notes from bergamot and orange blossom, providing a fresh yet sophisticated entrance. As it evolves, jasmine and ylang-ylang add layers of sweet floral richness, while peach introduces a subtle fruity contrast. Hedione adds a radiant floral brightness, complemented by the warm embrace of sandalwood and white musk in the base notes.
Apply two sprays to ensure that the initial citrus freshness balances well with the warm base notes. Given its moderate longevity, a light reapplication after a few hours can maintain its presence throughout the day.
