The story behind the bottle.
La Colle Noire by Dior, launched in 2016 and crafted by François Demachy, celebrates the intensity of May Rose absolute at its core. The fragrance is a sunny composition dedicated to Grasse, a place integral to Dior's perfume legacy. One can sense the raw beauty of Provence through notes like lemon, may rose, peony, spices, lily-of-the-valley, and fruits like black currant, raspberry, and peach. The base notes of white musk, amber, sandalwood, heliotrope, and agarwood (oud) add warmth and depth, creating a complex yet harmonious blend that evokes the sun-drenched elegance of Grasse.
Apply this fragrance to pulse points for maximum longevity. The top notes are bright but quickly give way to the heart of may rose and spices, which develops into a warm, woody base over time. Best worn during warmer months when its sunny character can truly shine.
