The story behind the bottle.
La Colle Noire (2018) by Dior, crafted by François Demachy, is an Oriental Floral fragrance that balances freshness and warmth with a sophisticated ease. The scent opens with black currant and lemon, creating a vibrant and refreshing top note that sets the tone for the composition. As it evolves, rose and peony bring soft florality to the heart, while raspberry and lily-of-the-valley add a touch of sweetness and fruitiness. The base notes of white musk, agarwood (oud), honey, sandalwood, and amberwood create a warm and enveloping finish that is both comforting and alluring.
Apply this fragrance in layers for maximum impact — one spray initially to set the top notes, followed by another after 30 minutes as the heart notes emerge. It blooms best close to skin rather than filling a room, so aim for pulse points.
