Angélique Noire by Guerlain, launched in 2005 and crafted by Daniela Andrier, is a sophisticated Oriental Floral fragrance that marries the sweetness of vanilla with the depth of powdery musk. The composition opens with notes of angelica and pear, creating an unexpected contrast between freshness and warmth. This interplay continues into the heart where jasmine adds a soft floral touch, while caraway brings a subtle spiciness. The base is anchored by vanilla, cedar, and amber, which ground the fragrance in rich, enveloping comfort.
This fragrance blooms gradually on the skin, so a light first pass allows it to develop naturally. The vanilla base is long-lasting but stays close to the skin, making it ideal for intimate settings or cooler evenings.
