Miss Dior Eau de Toilette Originale was launched in 2011 by François Demachy as a fresh take on the house's signature chypre-floral style. The composition opens with the green, herbaceous note of galbanum before giving way to the lush, creamy jasmine sambac. It settles into a warm and earthy patchouli base that adds depth and complexity. This fragrance embodies the modern interpretation of classic elegance, bridging the gap between traditional French refinement and contemporary sophistication.
Two sprays are sufficient due to its moderate longevity and sillage. The galbanum opening is bright but fades quickly, so layering on the wrists and neck allows the jasmine and patchouli base notes to linger throughout the day.
