The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2018, Sakura by Dior is a floral fragrance for women and men crafted by François Demachy. The composition opens with green notes that evoke the freshness of spring, followed by Japanese cherry blossom, rose, jasmine, and Hedione, creating a delicate and ethereal bouquet. The base notes of white musk, mimosa, and violet add warmth and depth, resulting in a scent that feels both familiar and enchanting.
One or two sprays are sufficient to capture the essence of Sakura. The fresh top notes will last for about an hour before giving way to the floral heart and musky base. This fragrance reads better close to skin, so avoid over-spraying to maintain its subtle elegance.
