The story behind the bottle.
Fleur de Peau Multiuse Fragrance, launched by Diptyque in 2020 and crafted by perfumer Olivier Pescheux, is a Floral Aldehyde creation that combines freshness with warmth. The scent opens with aldehydes and bergamot, creating an immediate sense of crispness and brightness. This fresh start transitions into the heart notes of lily-of-the-valley, iris, and jasmine, which bring depth and complexity. The base of ambrette and musk adds a subtle powdery warmth that grounds the composition. Fleur de Peau is a proof of Diptyque's enduring elegance, blending modern freshness with classic floral elements.
Apply this fragrance in light sprays; the aldehydic top notes are bright but brief. The base notes take about an hour to fully bloom, so allow some time for them to settle on your skin before reapplying if needed.
