The story behind the bottle.
D&G Anthology Le Fou 21, launched in 2011 and created by perfumer Michel Girard, is an aromatic fougere fragrance that captures the essence of a contemporary Italian gentleman. The opening notes of coriander and bergamot introduce a fresh spicy edge, while juniper berries and ginger add warmth and depth. As it settles, cognac and tonka bean lend a rich, woody sweetness that contrasts beautifully with the crisp aromatic top notes.
Apply two sprays to your pulse points. The citrus and aromatic notes are bright but fleeting, so allow a few minutes for the warm spicy and woody base to develop fully. This fragrance suits daytime better than night, as its moderate longevity and sillage keep it close to skin without overpowering.
