The story behind the bottle.
V/S Homme by Versace was launched in 2000 and crafted by perfumer Mark Buxton. This aromatic fougere for men opens with a bright, citrusy burst from lime and mandarin orange, punctuated by the freshness of lavender and mint. The heart introduces a subtle green complexity with sage and cyclamen, while coriander and cardamom add a warm spiciness. The base notes anchor this composition with woody accords of cashmere wood and cedar, grounded by amber, musk, and oakmoss. V/S Homme is a fragrance that balances freshness and warmth, creating an enduring presence.
Apply one to two sprays to ensure the bright citrus top notes are balanced by the warm woody base. This fragrance blooms gradually over time and pairs well with layered clothing for a subtle yet noticeable presence throughout the day.

Mark Buxton
The blind-test prodigyMark Buxton, born in England and raised near Hamburg, entered perfumery almost by accident: at 21, a German game show challenge to identify 600 perfumes by scent alone caught the attention of Haarmann & Reimer, who offered him a place in their Paris training program.
