DKNY Women Summer 2015 by Donna Karan is a chypre floral fragrance that captures the essence of summer in an urban setting. Launched in 2015, it opens with a bright citrus blend of grapefruit and sweet orange, which cuts through the heart notes of lily, iris, and carnation to create a fresh, spicy aromatic profile. The base of fir resin, patchouli, and vanilla adds warmth and depth, grounding the composition in rich woody tones.
One or two sprays are sufficient to capture the fresh, vibrant essence of this fragrance. It’s best suited for daytime wear as the citrus opening is bright but fades after a couple of hours, leaving the warm woody base notes to linger throughout the day.
