The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2025 by Dries Van Noten, Havana Gold is a creation by perfumer Jordi Fernández that balances the warmth of tobacco and leather with the sweetness of licorice and cinnamon. The opening notes of star anise and mandarin introduce a bright, spicy freshness before giving way to the rich, smoky charm of tobacco and benzoin. This composition is neither overtly masculine nor feminine, embodying the unisex elegance that Dries Van Noten has become known for.
Apply one or two sprays to pulse points; the rich base notes take time to develop fully on skin. This fragrance is best enjoyed in more subdued settings as it reads better close to the body than across a room.
