The story behind the bottle.
Soie Malaquais by Dries Van Noten was launched in 2022 and is a creation by perfumer Marie Salamagne. This fragrance opens with the bright freshness of black currant and bergamot, creating an immediate sense of vibrancy. As it develops, warm notes of cacao and chestnut blend seamlessly into the floral heart of rose, adding depth and richness. The overall composition is both fruity and nutty, enveloped in a balsamic warmth that feels comforting yet luxurious.
Apply this fragrance in light layers to allow its nuanced notes to unfold gradually. It pairs well with cooler evenings but can also be worn during the day for a subtle yet luxurious presence.
