Launched in 2022 by Dries Van Noten and crafted by perfumer Quentin Bisch, Fleur du Mal is a unisex fragrance that marries the sweetness of peach with the depth of suede. The top note of ripe peach introduces an immediate warmth and brightness, while osmanthus and jasmine create a lush floral heart that feels both familiar and unexpected. This floral bouquet softens into a base of suede and amber, lending a powdery, musky warmth that grounds the composition in earthy sensuality.
Apply Fleur du Mal in light sprays to capture its full evolution. The fruity top notes are fleeting but impactful; focus on the base for lasting warmth. It pairs beautifully with layers of clothing, allowing it to develop close to skin rather than projecting across a room.
