The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2018 by DS&Durga, Amber Kiso is a woody chypre composition crafted by perfumer David Seth Moltz. The fragrance opens with the smoky and incense-like notes of hinoki cypress and cedar, before transitioning into a rich heart of maple and patchouli. Leather and moss add depth to this warm and balsamic scent, creating an animalic and spicy finish that is both grounding and alluring. This composition embodies the brand’s commitment to crafting distinctive fragrances using essences sourced from around the world.
Amber Kiso has a strong presence that builds gradually over time. One or two sprays on pulse points is sufficient to allow the rich notes to develop fully throughout the day. It pairs well with cooler weather, where its warmth and depth are most appreciated.
