Debaser, launched in 2015 by DS&Durga, is a composition that marries the crispness of green and fruity notes with the warmth of vanilla and wood. The fragrance opens with stems greens and bergamot, creating an immediate freshness that transitions into pear and fig, adding a touch of sweetness and fruitiness. At its heart lies coconut milk and iris, which lend Debaser a lush, creamy texture, while precious woods and tonka bean anchor the base with earthy warmth.
Apply Debaser in thin layers; its top notes are bright but ephemeral. The scent develops best close to skin rather than in the air, so a gentle mist on pulse points is ideal. It pairs well with a light jacket or sweater for added warmth.
