Big Sur Eucalyptus by DS&Durga, launched in 2023 and crafted by David Seth Moltz, captures the essence of coastal California with a blend of woody aromatic notes. The opening is fresh and spicy, evocative of eucalyptus groves along rugged cliffs, while a camphoraceous undertone adds an invigorating lift. This composition settles into a marine accord that feels like the salty air after a storm, creating a sense of space and freshness.
This fragrance has moderate longevity and sillage, so aim for one or two sprays on pulse points. The camphor note can be quite strong initially but fades into a more subtle marine-woody scent after about an hour.
