Launched in 2011 by DS&Durga, Colorado Florida is a Woody Aromatic fragrance that blends the earthy essence of soil with aromatic notes like lavender and pine tree. Perfumers David Seth Moltz and Kavi Moltz have crafted this scent to evoke the natural landscapes of its namesake regions — the rugged terrain of Colorado and the lush greenery of Florida. The composition opens with a Soil Tincture that grounds the fragrance, leading into a heart of lavender and cedar, before settling into an earthy base of ambergris and osmanthus. This unisex scent is neither overly sweet nor overpowering, offering a balanced harmony between nature’s raw elements.
Apply this fragrance to pulse points for a lasting effect. The soil tincture note fades quickly, but the woody base notes remain close to skin throughout the day, making it ideal for daytime wear. A light spritz will allow the earthy warmth to envelop you without overpowering.
