Launched in 2011 by DS&Durga, Poppy Rouge is a Floral fragrance for women crafted by perfumer David Seth Moltz. It opens with a bright citrus note that quickly gives way to a heart of white floral and violet, creating an unexpected tension between freshness and sweetness. The musky base adds warmth without overpowering the delicate florals above it, resulting in a composition that feels both crisp and comforting.
Poppy Rouge has moderate longevity and sillage, so one or two sprays are sufficient to capture its essence. The citrus opening is bright but fades quickly into the floral heart, which blooms within an hour. Best applied close to skin for a more intimate scent experience rather than filling a room.
