West by Ellis Brooklyn launched in 2019 as a modern take on the citrus genre, blending bright, zesty notes with earthy undertones. The fragrance opens with blood orange and clementine, creating an immediate burst of freshness that's both invigorating and uplifting. As it evolves, basil and ginger add a subtle spicy warmth, while pear blossom and water lily bring in delicate floral elements. The base notes of oakmoss and vetiver ground the composition, adding depth and complexity to create a scent that feels both fresh and earthy.
West is best applied with one or two sprays to the neck and wrists. The citrus top notes are vibrant but fleeting, so don't overdo it — the earthy base will slowly emerge throughout the day, making it ideal for daytime wear.
