Launched in 2005 by Escada, Escada 2005 is a Chypre Floral fragrance crafted by Pierre Bourdon. The composition opens with green leaves and cucumber, creating a fresh and crisp start that feels like the first breath of spring. This bright beginning is followed by a heart of lily-of-the-valley, jasmine, peony, freesia, magnolia, orange blossom, and rose — notes that weave together to form a delicate floral bouquet. The base of musk, iris, patchouli, sandalwood, amber, and vanilla adds warmth and depth, grounding the fragrance in earthy comfort.
Apply two sprays to pulse points in the morning for optimal wear. The green and citrus top notes are bright but fade within an hour, making way for the floral heart and warm base notes to unfold throughout the day. This fragrance reads better close to skin rather than from a distance.
