HeartThe Soul
The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2007 by Chanel, Chance Eau Fraiche was crafted by Jacques Polge as an invigorating addition to the iconic Chance line. The fragrance opens with a bright and sharp burst of lemon and citron, followed by pink pepper that adds a subtle spiciness. These top notes give way to a heart of water hyacinth and jasmine, which are both delicate and fresh. The base notes of cedar, vetiver, teak wood, patchouli, iris, white musk, and amber create a warm, woody foundation that is both comforting and earthy. Known for its stronger-than-expected projection and sillage, Chance Eau Fraiche has been praised by enthusiasts as an underrated entry in the line, with a slightly masculine or tomboyish opening character that sets it apart.
Apply this fragrance generously for its strong projection to make an impact throughout the day. The citrus and spicy notes fade within two hours, so layering it with the base notes will ensure a long-lasting woody warmth.
