The story behind the bottle.

Scentsation editorial

Launched in 2002 by Chanel and crafted by Jacques Polge, Chance Eau de Toilette is a chypre floral that combines unexpected contrasts. The fragrance opens with bright citrus and pineapple, creating an initial burst of freshness. This gives way to the rich, earthy notes of patchouli and vetiver, grounded further by the sweet warmth of vanilla and musk. Jacques Polge's composition is both playful and sophisticated, making it a signature scent that feels as much at home in the boardroom as on a casual stroll.

How to wear it

Due to its strong sillage and long-lasting nature, one generous spray is enough. The initial burst of citrus will fade within an hour, giving way to the richer base notes that carry through the day. This fragrance performs best in moderate temperatures, making it ideal for spring or fall.
