Launched in 2021 by Estée Lauder, Blushing Sands is a woody spicy fragrance created by perfumer Clement Gavarry. The composition opens with Haitian vetiver, which introduces an earthy and green freshness that contrasts beautifully with the pink pepper middle note, adding a soft spiciness to the mix. The base of musk rounds out the scent with a warm and powdery undertone, creating a sense of yin and yang between traditionally feminine and masculine notes.
Start with one or two sprays on pulse points — the vetiver top note is bright but fades quickly. The musky base develops over time and carries the warmth through the day without overpowering. Best for daytime wear as it reads softly intimate rather than bold.
