Launched in 2010 by Estée Lauder and crafted by perfumer Annie Buzantian, Sensuous Noir is an Oriental Woody fragrance that embodies the brand's signature blend of elegance and sensuality. The composition opens with a fresh spicy accord, featuring spices and pepper, which transitions into a heart of rose and jasmine before settling on a warm base of patchouli, guaiac wood, amber, and vanilla. This contrast between freshness and warmth creates a dynamic scent that feels both modern and lasting.
Two sprays are sufficient to capture the essence of Sensuous Noir. The spicy top notes fade within two hours but the woody and amber base continues to linger for several more hours. This fragrance reads better in cooler settings, so it's ideal for an evening out or a cozy indoor gathering.
