The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 1989 by the Italian fashion house Etro, Magot is a Woody Aromatic fragrance that blends warm spices with powdery and musky notes. Created by perfumer Jacques Flori, this unisex scent opens with bright citrus and aromatic lavender before settling into a heart of iris and rose. The base notes of cedar, patchouli, and vanilla add depth and warmth, creating an inviting atmosphere that feels both refined and intimate.
Magot is best applied in layers — a light spritz to start, followed by additional sprays as needed throughout the day. The citrus opening is bright but fleeting, so allow it to settle into the heart and base notes for a more nuanced experience.
