Launched in 2020 by Fragrance Du Bois, Areej is a captivating Oriental Woody fragrance created by perfumer Shadi Samra. The composition opens with the bright zest of bergamot and rose, which quickly gives way to caramel's sweet warmth. This contrast creates an engaging tension that evolves into a heart of violet and woody notes, leading to a base of cashmere wood, vanilla, guaiac wood, and Indian oud. These elements blend seamlessly to create a scent that is both comforting and complex.
Areej is best applied in layers — start with one spray to let the top notes settle before adding another. The sweet caramel and vanilla are prominent initially but give way to the deeper woody base over time.
