Lipstick Rose by Frederic Malle, launched in 2000 and crafted by perfumer Ralf Schwieger, is a Floral fragrance that perfectly encapsulates the brand's niche approach to perfumery. The composition opens with bright fruity notes like raspberry and litchi, which contrast beautifully against the green freshness of bergamot and lemon. As it evolves, the heart of iris and violet adds depth, while heliotrope and rose create a lush floral bouquet. The base notes of vanilla, amber, patchouli, and leather add warmth and sophistication, making this fragrance both lasting and modern.
Apply one or two sprays to pulse points; the fruity top notes are bright but fade quickly, leaving behind the rich floral and warm base notes. This fragrance is best suited for evening wear when its powdery and earthy qualities can truly shine.
