The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2013 by Giorgio Armani and crafted by perfumer Christine Nagel, Si is a Chypre Fruity fragrance that modernized the traditionally austere chypre genre. The composition opens with a prominent blackcurrant-nectar note, leading to a heart of May Rose and Freesia before settling into a base of vanilla, patchouli, woody notes, and ambroxan. Si is credited by critics and enthusiasts for its accessible sweetness and sophisticated construction, making it a standout in the mainstream designer fragrance category.
Si blooms best with time, so apply it in the morning for a scent that evolves throughout the day. The prominent top notes are fleeting, but the base notes last well into the night.
