The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 1975, Halston Classic by Halston is a chypre floral fragrance that captures the essence of the brand's signature elegance and sophistication. Created by perfumer Bernard Chant, it opens with green leaves and mint, creating an invigorating freshness that contrasts beautifully with the warm spicy notes of peaches, melon, and bergamot. The heart of carnation, marigold, ylang-ylang, rose, and jasmine adds a lush floral touch, while the base of cedar, orris root, oakmoss, vetiver, amber, incense, patchouli, sandalwood, and musk provides an earthy and woody depth. This composition is emblematic of the brand's legacy of blending modernity with lasting elegance.
One or two sprays on pulse points are sufficient — the green and mint notes will brighten up initially, but it is the warm spicy and woody base that lasts throughout the day. This fragrance pairs well with daytime wear and subtly enhances evening settings.
