The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2017 by Heretic Parfum, Dita Von Teese Scandalwood is a Woody Floral Musk fragrance that embodies the brand's commitment to natural and artisanal perfumery. Douglas Little crafted this composition with an intricate balance of warm spices, powdery woods, and rich amber notes. The fragrance opens with Atlas Cedar and Palisander Rosewood, which create a woody warmth that is further enhanced by Bulgarian Rose and Ylang-Ylang for a floral touch. Sandalwood and White Musk anchor the scent with deep musky undertones, while Myrrh and Orris Root add an earthy complexity.
Apply this fragrance in light layers to appreciate its gradual unfolding. The top notes are fleeting, but the base notes settle into the skin over time, making it ideal for evening wear or cooler evenings.
