The story behind the bottle.

Scentsation editorial

Launched in 2018, Terre D'Hermès Eau Intense Vetiver by Hermès is a Woody Aromatic fragrance for men created by perfumer Christine Nagel. This composition opens with bright citrus notes of bergamot, grapefruit, and lemon, which cut through the heart's fresh spicy accords like Sichuan pepper and geranium. The base notes of vetiver, olibanum, patchouli, and amberwood provide a rich earthy warmth that anchors the fragrance over time.

How to wear it

Apply this fragrance in light layers — the citrus opening is fleeting but vibrant. The base notes take about an hour to fully bloom, so it's best to apply early for maximum impact. It pairs well with cooler weather when its earthy warmth can complement both casual and formal settings.
