Launched in 2004 by Hugo Boss and crafted by perfumer Ursula Wandel, Boss Intense Shimmer Edition is a fragrance that bridges the gap between warmth and sophistication. The composition begins with a delicate interplay of jasmine and Turkish rose, creating an initial floral whisper that segues into a heart of vanilla, adding depth and sweetness. From photography to Hugo WomanUrsula Wandel discovered perfumery through curiosity and a background in chemistry, initially drawn to photography before enrolling at the Givaudan perfumery school in Geneva, where she spent her first year learning around 3,000 raw materials and her second imitating well-known perfumes like a painter studying the old masters.
