Boss Selection by Hugo Boss was launched in 2006 and is a creation of perfumer Olivier Pescheux. This aromatic fougère fragrance opens with bright citrus notes like pink pepper, grapefruit, and mandarin orange, which are balanced by the soft spice of star anise and geranium. The heart transitions into a woody and powdery base, anchored by musk, vetiver, and patchouli, creating a composition that is both fresh and warm.
Boss Selection projects best when applied to pulse points and left to develop on skin. The initial burst of citrus is most noticeable in the first hour but fades gracefully into a warm musky base that lasts through the day.
