Of French-Spanish heritage and raised in Madrid, Gaël Montero studied perfumery at Montpellier University and was mentored by perfumer Jordi Fernandez in Barcelona. After working as a Perfumer Assistant at Procter & Gamble, he joined Givaudan's Perfumery School in Paris, rising from lab assistant to junior perfumer, and now works as a perfumer for Memo Paris, based in Dubai.
