The Story

Elizabeth Arden's rich heritage in American cosmetics and fragrances sets the stage for this unisex EDP. The composition opens with a bright, vibrant accord of bergamot and lemon, which cuts through to a heart of jasmine and rose that adds an unexpected depth. It settles into a base of musk and amber, creating a warm yet restrained finish. This fragrance is a reflection of the brand's enduring commitment to elegance and innovation.

Application Tips

Apply one or two sprays to your pulse points for a balanced experience. The citrus top notes are bright but fleeting, so it's best to let the warm base notes develop over time. Ideal for daytime wear when you want a scent that is both fresh and comforting.

Edmond Roudnitska portrait

Edmond Roudnitska is remembered today as one of the most important perfumers in history: as a ""perfumer composer"" and the inventor of modern perfumery. His encounter in the 1950s with Serge Heftler-Louiche, the founder of Parfums Christian Dior and Frédéric Malle’s grandfather, was decisive. Together they created many legendary perfumes: “Eau Fraîche”, “Diorissimo”, “Diorella”, and most famous of all, “Eau Sauvage”, whose launch coincided with the public’s recognition of Edmond as the first “nose” of the perfume industry.Edmond began his career as a chemist at Roure Bertrand Dupont, where he developed an encyclopedic knowledge of natural and synthetic raw materials, as well as a distinctive minimalist style, which led to his legendary, secret masterpiece, “Le Parfum de Thérèse”. Only she, his wife, was allowed to wear it; but as a token of their shared family history, and their mutual trust, she entrusted the formula to Frédéric Malle after Edmond’s death.

The story behind the bottle.

The crisp air of an early morning walk in Central Park, where the freshness of bergamot and lemon gives way to the subtle warmth of musk and amber.
