Bronze Wood & Leather by Jo Malone London was launched in 2019 as a bold statement in the brand's collection. Perfumer Marie Salamagne crafted this fragrance to evoke the warmth of leather and wood, with an unexpected smoky edge that adds depth and intrigue. The top note of grapefruit brings a fresh, citrusy brightness that contrasts sharply against the rich juniper and smoke in the heart notes. As it settles into its base of leather and vetiver, Bronze Wood & Leather transforms into a sophisticated blend of earthy warmth and subtle animalic undertones.
This fragrance has a strong presence, so one or two sprays are sufficient to make it last throughout the day. The grapefruit note fades quickly, making way for the richer leather and vetiver base, which blooms after about an hour. For best results, apply closer to your skin rather than in the air.
