The story behind the bottle.
La Nuit Tresor Caresse, launched by Lancôme in 2016 and crafted by perfumers Amandine Clerc-Marie and Christophe Raynaud, is a captivating Oriental Vanilla fragrance that embodies the essence of modern elegance. The composition opens with bright raspberry and litchi notes, creating an initial burst of fruity freshness. This gives way to a heart filled with damask rose, jasmine, and almond blossom, bringing a delicate floral touch. As the scent settles into its base notes of Tahitian vanilla, patchouli, and white musk, it transforms into a warm, comforting embrace.
This fragrance blooms best when applied to pulse points. The fruity top notes are vibrant but fleeting, so layering it lightly will allow the rich base notes of vanilla and patchouli to emerge more gradually. It’s perfect for evening wear as it evolves into a softer, warmer presence over time.

Amandine Clerc Marie
Grasse-born, Firmenich-trainedAmandine Clerc-Marie is a French perfumer born in Grasse, where her mother also worked in the perfume industry. She trained at ISIPCA and spent more than ten years working alongside Michel Almairac before joining Firmenich in 2011 as a senior perfumer.
