Launched in 2012 by Le Labo and crafted by perfumer Vincent Schaller, Oud 27 Perfume Oil is an Oriental Woody fragrance that embodies a complex blend of warm spices, smoky oud, and balsamic richness. The composition opens with a metallic note that adds an unexpected edge before transitioning to the heart of patchouli and leather. This contrast creates a dynamic tension between the earthy warmth and the subtle smokiness, making it neither purely masculine nor feminine but rather unisex in its essence.
Apply Oud 27 in light layers — it blooms gradually over time. Given its rich, warm profile, it works best in cooler evenings or during transitional seasons when the air is crisp but not cold.
