Launched in 2009 by Le Labo, Oud 27 is a sophisticated Oriental Woody fragrance for both women and men. Created by perfumer Vincent Schaller, the composition opens with aldehydic notes that cut through the richness of the base, which is dominated by oud, patchouli, and powdery musk. The contrast between these elements creates a complex and intriguing scent that evolves throughout the day, from an initial crispness to a deep and enveloping warmth.
Apply Oud 27 sparingly to allow its rich base notes to develop on your skin. The aldehydic top notes are fleeting, so a light spritz is enough for the warm and complex heart and base to shine through. Best enjoyed during cooler months when its depth complements the chill in the air.
