Launched in 2025, MAISON ASRAR's Vanguard is a Chypre fragrance that balances the bright freshness of blackcurrant and pineapple with the warmth of leather and musk. The opening notes of blackcurrant and grapefruit create an immediate burst of brightness, while pink pepper adds a subtle spice that cuts through the sweetness. As it settles, lily of the valley and carnation bring a soft floral touch before the composition evolves into a base of cedarwood and moss, grounded by ambergris and leather. This fragrance is neither overly sweet nor too sharp; instead, it offers a harmonious blend of contrasting elements that evoke both modernity and lastingness.
Apply one or two sprays to your pulse points. The top notes are bright but ephemeral, so allow a few minutes for the leather and musk base to fully emerge. This fragrance is best worn close to skin rather than diffused into the air.
