Carlos Benaïm crafted Afternoon Delight in 2024 as a new addition to Maison Martin Margiela's collection. The fragrance opens with a rich, sweet vanilla that evokes the warmth and comfort of midday indulgence. As it evolves, powdery and woody notes mingle with musky undertones, creating a sense of cozy intimacy that feels both familiar and luxurious. The lactonic accord adds a subtle creaminess, rounding out the composition into a harmonious blend of sweetness and depth.
Apply one or two sprays to pulse points. The sweet vanilla top note is immediate but fades within an hour, making way for the powdery and woody base notes that last throughout the day. This fragrance is best enjoyed close to skin rather than in a wide sillage.
