Moroccan Leather by Memo Paris, launched in 2018 and crafted by perfumer Alienor Massenet, is a fragrance that captures the essence of aged leather with an aromatic twist. The composition opens with the warmth of ginger and mandarin, leading into a heart of ylang-ylang and iris butter that adds depth without overpowering. The base notes of leather, vetiver, and tonka bean create a rich, earthy backdrop that reads as both modern and lasting.
Apply Moroccan Leather sparingly, as it blooms over time to reveal its full complexity. The ginger and mandarin top notes dissipate within a few hours, making way for the deeper base notes that carry throughout the day. It's best suited for indoor settings where you can appreciate its subtle nuances close to skin.
