The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2021, Albatros by Mendittorosa is a fragrance that captures the essence of a coastal breeze and sunlit waters. Created by perfumer Anne-Sophie Behaghel, it opens with watery and ozonic notes that evoke the freshness of sea air. The composition then introduces anise for a subtle spice, followed by pineapple's tropical sweetness. This bright top layer gives way to rose and haitian vetiver, which bring a delicate floral-woody tension. Cashmere wood and white musk provide warmth and depth, rounding out a fragrance that is both refreshing and grounding.
One spray is sufficient — the ozonic and watery notes are quite prominent initially but fade into the more complex heart and base notes. This fragrance works well for daytime wear as its brightness complements a sunny day or an office environment.
