The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2025 by Michael Kors and crafted by perfumer Gaël Montero, Pour Homme Absolu is a Woody Aromatic fragrance that balances bright citrus and aromatic freshness with warm spiciness and rich woody notes. The composition opens with lemon and peppermint for an invigorating start, while cardamom and pink pepper add layers of warmth and complexity. At the heart, lavender and rosyfolia soften the blend before settling into a base of incense, cedarwood, akigalawood, and vetiver that reads as earthy and grounded. This fragrance is an evolution of Michael Kors' signature elegance, updated for contemporary tastes.
One or two sprays are sufficient to capture the full essence of this fragrance. The bright citrus and peppermint top notes fade within an hour but give way to a rich, warm base that lasts throughout the day. Best suited for daytime wear when the fresh aromatic elements complement a more polished look.
