The story behind the bottle.
Cartoonist by Michael Malul London, launched in 2025 and crafted by perfumer Stephanie Hakes, is an aromatic woody composition that captures the vivid contrasts of its inspiration. The scent opens with a fresh spicy accord featuring aldehydes and mint, which cuts through the sweetness of pineapple and ginger. At its heart, geranium adds a floral touch that balances the spiciness before transitioning to a base of cedarwood, patchouli, and elemi, creating a warm yet crisp finish.
Apply two sprays to ensure that the aldehydic top notes are noticeable initially. The fragrance will evolve into its woody base over time, so it's best suited for daytime wear when you want a dynamic scent journey from fresh and spicy to warm and earthy.
