Upper East by Michael Malul London, launched in 2022 and crafted by Frank Voelkl, is a fragrance that captures the essence of an elegant city morning. The composition opens with apple leaf and bergamot, creating a fresh and crisp start before cardamom and lavender add a layer of warmth and spiciness. The heart of geranium softens this contrast, leading into a base of suede, vanilla, amber, and cedar that reads as a blend of modern sophistication and lasting comfort.
Apply one to two sprays; the fresh citrus opening is vibrant but fades within an hour, making way for the warm base notes that develop close to skin. Best suited for daytime wear when its modern elegance can shine.
