The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2012 by Robert Piguet and crafted by perfumer Aurélien Guichard, Notes is a chypre floral fragrance that embodies the brand's heritage of sophisticated elegance. The composition opens with clary sage and bergamot, providing an aromatic and citrusy freshness. This bright start gives way to orange blossom and geranium, creating a soft and delicate floral heart. Costus and tonka bean add a touch of earthiness and sweetness, while vetiver and oakmoss ground the scent with woody depth and earthy richness.
One or two sprays is enough to capture the essence of Notes. The citrus-aromatic opening fades within an hour, but the woody base notes provide lasting warmth throughout the day. This fragrance reads best close to skin rather than filling a room.
