The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2014 by Dolce&Gabbana, Velvet Bergamot is a sophisticated fusion of citrus and aromatic notes. The opening burst of bergamot and petitgrain gives way to the floral heart of orange blossom and clary sage, creating an intriguing tension between freshness and warmth. Vetiver and ambrette (musk mallow) form a musky base that grounds the composition, ensuring it remains both vibrant and comforting throughout the day.
This fragrance blooms beautifully over time, so apply it lightly and let it develop on your skin. It's best to wear Velvet Bergamot in cooler weather when its fresh spiciness can shine without overpowering.
