The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2012 by Robert Piguet and composed by Aurélien Guichard, Casbah is an Oriental Spicy fragrance for both women and men. The composition opens with the warmth of black pepper and nutmeg, creating a fresh spicy tension that cuts through to the heart where angelica and incense add a smoky, almost sacred quality. Vetiver and cedar form a woody base, while tobacco lends an earthy depth, balanced by orris root's powdery softness and musky balsamic notes.
Casbah's top notes are bright and engaging but fade quickly within an hour. The smoky and woody base notes take center stage after that, so apply it to pulse points for warmth throughout the day without overpowering others.
