The story behind the bottle.
Fleurs de Sel by Miller Harris, launched in 2007 and crafted by Lyn Harris, is a chypre floral that plays with the interplay between freshness and warmth. The fragrance opens with an aromatic blend of salt, rosemary, thyme, and clary sage, creating a crisp yet earthy feel. This gives way to a heart of angelica, iris, narcissus, and rose, which is both delicate and vibrant. The base notes of oakmoss, vetiver, leather, and amber anchor the composition with an earthy, slightly smoky warmth.
Apply Fleurs de Sel to pulse points for best effect — the salt note fades quickly but leaves a subtle trail. The leather and amber base notes are more pronounced close to skin, so this fragrance reads better up close rather than across a room.
